The 1st Annual Bandera Chamber of Commerce BBQ Cook-Off is set to heat up the grill on May 16-17, 2025, at the Bandera Pioneer RV River Resort, located at 1202 Maple Street, Bandera, TX. This exciting, non-sanctioned BBQ competition welcomes grill masters from all over to showcase their skills!
Competitors will battle it out in three categories: chicken, pork spare ribs, and brisket, with a $250 entry fee. Prize payouts extend through 10th place, with the Grand Champion taking home $750 and the Reserve Grand Champion winning $500.
For those looking to spice things up, Jackpot Events will be held throughout the weekend. Friday night features a Margarita Contest, while Saturday brings the Bloody Mary and Beans competition, each with a $25 entry fee and a 70% payout.
This event is open to the public, offering live music and vendor booths for a fun-filled weekend for both competitors and spectators alike. Whether you're grilling or just there to enjoy the atmosphere, it's an event you won’t want to miss!
Camping is available on-site, with boondock sites included in registration. For those needing hook-ups, options range from $15 to $20 per night, with limited spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis.
