Ridin’ the River Cowboy Fellowship invites everyone to our “Goat Roping Event" the first big event to welcome in the New Year Sunday, January 1, 2023!
While many participate just for fun, the event is competitive, and the top teams can walk away with $1000 added in Cash and Prizes!! To participate, all you do is show up and sign up. Books open at 12:30 p.m. See attached flyer for more details.
Worship Service at 10:30 a.m. with Lunch served in the Fellowship Hall at 11:30 a.m.
Open & Mix Goat Roping kicks off Sunday, January 1, 2023, with Rope at 1:00 p.m. in the RRCF Arena. The goat roping is a timed event that includes a team of two ropers (a header and a heeler) and of course, the goat! The event is all on foot. A goat is released from the chute, and one person ropes its head while the other catches its hind legs. The goal is to catch the goat and get a secure tie with the fastest time!
