Celebrate International Observe the Moon Night by taking a look at our Moon through a telescope.
When: Stop by anytime between 6:30pm and 8pm to get an up-close look at the moon's craters and seas.
What: We'll have our telescope set up and pointed at the moon. While you are here, you can also pick up a sky map and learn how to use it.
Where: In the wildlife viewing area, near the HQ building.
What to bring: Dress for the weather. Bring your own drinking water. Bringing a flashlight is also recommended if visiting after sunset.
Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is $6 per visitor 13 years and up; free for visitors 12 years and younger; free for visitors with a Texas State Park Pass. Please use the self-pay station if arriving after office hours. Self-pay does not accept credit cards.
