The massive cypress trees that line the Medina River have fine needles that feather out from their branches, thus the name of this great river retreat located 5 miles from Bandera. This is a home that offers fun for the entire family. The main house which sleeps four is separated from the cabin which sleeps an additional four by a large deck with tables, chairs, benches and an outdoor bar/sink area. Next to the deck there is a large charcoal grill with smoker and an outdoor shower which the kids will love after a day of playing in the river. The yard offers lots of chairs nestled beneath huge oak trees. The deck and back yard overlook a large meadow covered with wildflowers and the deer and turkey come into that feeder mornings and evenings so there is lots of wildlife viewing. The beautiful Medina River is about 400 yards from the house across that meadow.
The Main house is centrally air conditioned and heated and has WiFi throughout. The bedroom has two twin beds and there is one bath with a tub and shower combination. The small dining area for four to six flows into the large dining room which seats ten. This opens to the comfy living area with three sofas one of which is a double sleeper sofa, a wood burning fireplace and satellite TV. The fully equipped kitchen is off the living area. There is an additional sleeping area beyond the living room with two twin trundle beds.
The Cabin has two twin beds, a queen bed, a sofa, a half bath and a window unit AC and heat unit. All bed and bath linens are supplied for both the house and the cabin and there is a large supply of river towels. Good AT&T cell coverage.
