Throughout the year many of Bandera County's events are especially suited for children and offer special children's activities.  Listed below are just a few of these events.

Celebrate Bandera

LABOR DAY WEEKEND:  Children of all ages thrill at the sight of the Texas Longhorn cattle drive down Bandera's Main Street on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend each year.  Inaddition, Celebrate Bandera offers many historical re-enactment groups and camps where children can learn about the late 1800's.  At Mansfield Park during the evenings, the Wild West Show will entertain and during the NPBR bull riding, the children have the opportunity to participate in a calf scramble.
